When I was younger, I watched plenty of movies, but there was one genre that I never liked/still am iffy about. That genre is horror. The jump scares and gore is the unwanted content for me. Now that I’m older, i can handle it better, and sleep well still after watching a paranormal movie. My younger self couldn’t say the same, but one movie is an exception. It’s called “Coraline”.
“Coraline” was one of my favorite movies when I was younger. It was considered horror to most children my age, at the time, yet this movie never made me feel fear while watching it. This movie inspired me to believe that family is always important and should come first. The care that the main character, Coraline , shows, proves that.
I really enjoy this movie because of the plot and the fat that it was partially scary but never made me feel too scared to watch it. It had subtle jokes inside, which i very much liked. This movie was a big part of my childhood and i could watch it one hundred more times.
